She shared her aloha spirit and deep knowledge of Maui's wildlife, geology, and history. She led us on a dip in a refreshing pool beneath a beautiful waterfall. We also made a number of comfort stops at roadside businesses where we were able to enjoy banana bread, dragon fruit, and sandwiches--bring cash, as not all businesses are located within cell service which is required for processing credit card transactions. The highlight for me was being able to see the sea turtles on the beach and in the ocean.

This is a half-day experience and does not travel all the way to Hana Town or Waiʻānapanapa Black Sand Beach. Instead, you'll explore beautiful waterfalls, rainforest, coastal scenery, tropical landscapes and local stops along the earlier portion of the Road to Hana.
